B-460 Medical Silicone Adhesive

B-460 is a medical-grade silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) designed for the daily attachment of silicone prosthetics. This version is diluted for easier application and removal, making it ideal for routine patient use where comfort and convenience are important.

Part of our 460 series enhanced adhesive system, B-460 offers improved performance over the original B-400/BT-400 formulations while maintaining dependable adhesion during everyday wear. The adhesive retains its bonding properties even in the presence of moisture or perspiration and performs consistently across normal temperature variations.

Because this adhesive is silicone-based, prosthetics should be removed using a silicone-specific adhesive remover to protect both the prosthesis and the patient’s skin.
