BT-460 Medical Silicone Adhesive (Extra Strength – Thick Formula)

BT-460 is an extra-strength, high-viscosity medical silicone adhesive designed for the daily attachment of silicone prosthetics. This is a common adhesive for hair application.  This thicker, non-diluted formula provides stronger hold and greater control during application compared to our standard B-460 adhesive.

Part of the 460 series, BT-460 represents the enhanced formulation of our original B-400/BT-400 adhesives, offering improved performance while maintaining reliable adhesion even in the presence of moisture or perspiration. The adhesive remains stable across normal temperature variations, helping ensure consistent performance throughout daily wear.

Because BT-460 is silicone-based, prosthetics should be removed using a silicone-specific adhesive remover to protect both the prosthesis and the patient’s skin.
