A-101 Medical Grade Silicone Elastomer (RTV)

A-101 is a two-part, medical-grade RTV silicone elastomer designed for versatile fabrication and clinical applications. This system cures at room temperature without exotherm, forming a dimensionally stable, flexible elastomer that maintains its properties over time without hardening.

Cures to tan/off-white color, A-101 is based on polydimethylsiloxane and can be processed by pouring, casting, low-pressure molding, or brush application, offering flexibility for a wide range of techniques.

A key advantage of this system is its adjustable working and cure time, allowing clinicians and technicians to tailor processing from approximately 4 minutes up to one hour. It also cures reliably in the presence of moisture with minimal impact on cure rate or completeness.
