A-801 PVA Clear (Polyvinyl Alcohol Release Coating)
A-801 PVA Clear is a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) release agent designed to create a protective film barrier between prosthetic materials and mold surfaces. It helps ensure clean separation, reduces surface imperfections, and preserves the integrity of both the mold and the finished silicone or acrylic appliance.
When applied in a thin coat, A-801 penetrates plaster or gypsum molds while maintaining a slightly porous surface, optimizing mold performance without sealing it completely.
This water-soluble, non-hazardous formulation is suitable for use with platinum- and tin-cure silicones, as well as acrylic and resin systems, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of fabrication processes.
