CCH Solvent (Extrinsic Silicone Pigmenting Solvent)
CCH Solvent is a specialized solvent used for extrinsic pigmentation of silicone prosthetics, helping pigments properly penetrate and bond to the surface. It is a proven and effective replacement for 1,1,1-trichloroethane, offering similar performance without the regulatory limitations.
When applied, CCH temporarily opens the surface of the silicone, allowing pigments to infuse into the material. As the solvent evaporates, the silicone returns to its original state, locking in the applied coloration.
