A-RTV-1556 Silicone Elastomer (10:1 RTV, High Strength)

A-RTV-1556 is a platinum-cure, two-component silicone elastomer with a 10:1 mix ratio, designed for high-performance mold making and production applications. This low-viscosity (15,000 cps), translucent system provides excellent flow for capturing fine detail and can be modified with thixotropic agents to achieve a non-sag, non-slumping consistency (up to ~500,000 cps).

The material forms a durable, flexible elastomer with high tear strength, low shrinkage, and excellent release properties, making it ideal for long-lasting molds and repeated use.

Cure Options

• Standard Cure (A-RTV-1556): ~8–12 hours at room temperature

• Fast Cure Option (A-RTV-1556F): cures in under 30 minutes
