Product Details
B-400 Medical Silicone Adhesive
B-400 is the original formulation of our medical-grade silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) used for attaching silicone prosthetics. This adhesive provides reliable hold while remaining a good starting option for patients new to silicone-based adhesives. Many clinicians recommend beginning with B-400 and progressing to stronger formulations if additional adhesion is needed.
The adhesive maintains its bonding performance even in the presence of moisture or perspiration and remains stable across normal temperature variations, making it suitable for daily prosthetic wear.
Because B-400 is silicone-based, prosthetics should be removed using a silicone-specific adhesive remover to safely release the bond and protect both the prosthesis and the patient’s skin.
